ASME awards a $4,000 IGTI scholarship every year based on superior academic performance and demonstrated interest in the gas turbine, propulsion, or turbomachinery industries.

IGTI offers several travel awards each year to students and young engineers employed in industry or government to attend ASME Turbo Expo to present papers of which they are authors.
