The primary goal of the Steam Turbine committee is to provide a voice within IGTI for the steam turbine engineering community for topics related to research, manufacturing, development, and operation.  This goal is met through the hosting of technical sessions to provide a forum of sharing technical ideas between steam turbine and gas turbine professionals and sessions to address technical topics unique to the steam turbine industry.  The Steam Turbine committee will seek to host jointly organized sessions with other technical committees when practical and beneficial.
