The mission of the Cycle Innovations Committee is to promote and disseminate the latest advances and results about innovative cycles for power production, also including cogeneration of heat and trigeneration of heat and cooling.
The main objectives of the Committee are:
- To promote the exchange of information on cycle innovations throughout the industry and academy, acting as an highly qualified international Forum of discussion.
- To stimulate the research on innovative cycles in the energy framework, including Carbon Dioxide separation and sequestration, Hydrogen production, non-conventional working fluid cycles, fuel cell hybrid systems, closed Brayton cycle, new cycles for renewable exploitation, LNG vaporization, water desalinization.
- To disseminate the tools for cycle analysis, from the thermodynamic, exergetic and thermoeconomic points of view.
- To present experimental results of innovative cycles and related components.
