Early Career Awards are intended to honor individuals who have outstanding accomplishments during the beginning of their careers.

IGTI will provide up to 20 $2000 (USD) scholarships per year to qualifying students registered at an accredited university (U.S. or international).

The IGTI Board has instituted travel awards for attending Turbo Expo. The nominee must have completed the research to be presented at ASME Turbo Expo while seeking a degree at a university.

Award is given in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the literature of combustion gas turbines or gas turbines thermally combined with nuclear or steam power plants.

Award is bestowed on an individual who has made contributions to advance the purpose of the Gas Turbine Industry and to the International Gas Turbine Institute over a substantial period of time.
